The Unitarians were, easily, the smallest denomination within The Rhondda. It would appear that this cause, as with the one in Treorchy, was formed out of the South East Wales District Mission.

No membership statistics are available for any church. Our source publication states that this cause was one of the weakest of any. And the denominational records back this up that it lasted barely 20 years to close in 1917.
    However, thsi was not to be the end of the story for its chapel which you can read in the history of Noddfa.
