This cause was a branch of Ainon, Tonyrefail and its first building was of wooden construction.

The logic in location, and subsequent building of the larger chapel, was anticipated industrial development. Sadly, this was not to happen abd the church did not prosper never achieving membership beyond the mid 60's and in single figures by closure in 1977. That initself might explain why it was not recorded in the MGCS wheras other contemporary closures were.
    I believe the occupation as shown in the 2010 photograph remains.
